We have a lot fun wine tasting’s to look forward to in the next 3 weeks.
Thursday Bob from W.J Deutsch & Sons will be pouring 3 Italian wines and 1 Spanish wine. We will be offering 10% off the Brunello the night of the pouring.
On Friday we are planning a fun “Halloween Blind” wine tasting. You won’t have to wear blind folds!! We will be decanting 4 red wines and it is up to you to guess the varietal.
The following 2 Thursday’s we’re planning to host 2 New Hampshire wine authors. At both events you’ll have the opportunity to meet and speak with the authors, purchase one of their beautiful books and have them sign the book (it’s not to early to think about holiday gifts and these books will make great holiday gifts!)
On Thursday November 5, Jim Beauregard, who writes the weekly “Regarding Wine” column for the New Hampshire Union Leader, will introduce his new book, New Hampshire Wine. A treasure trove of information for wine enthusiasts, Mr. Beauregard’s book highlights viniculture in New Hampshire with visits to and information about the wineries, along with tasting notes. The book also covers the Granite State wine “scene,” with information about wine dinners, wine bars, and wine shops throughout the state. Patrick Dunn from Dunn wine brokers will be pouring 7 exceptional wines that evening.
On Thursday, November 12, Carla Snow will discuss her new book, Wine and Dine in New Hampshire. A noted wine consultant and owner of A Grape Affair in Portsmouth, Ms. Snow has written an in-depth look at New Hampshire’s award-winning wines, ciders, and meads. The book is Illustrated with stunning color photography and features recipes created specifically to pair or incorporate the beverages covered in the book. Bob Barton from R.P. Imports will be pouring sparkling wine, ports and dessert wines.
